Music Production
How do you actually finish and release tracks in Ableton?
You finish tracks by building a repeatable system -- sound design, arrangement, mix decisions, and export -- and having someone with release experience hold you to it. Frankie Flowerz has released on Crosstown Rebels, Hypercolour, OM, and Turbo; his production coaching is built around one goal: getting your tracks from idea to release-ready, not endlessly tweaked.
Who it is for
This is for producers who have Ableton open every week but rarely finish anything, and for artists who finish tracks but cannot get them to sound competitive at volume. Levels from complete beginner to intermediate -- advanced students are assessed individually.
What you will work on
- Sound design foundations -- synthesis, sampling, layering for club contexts
- Arrangement: intro, build, drop, breakdown, outro for DJ-friendly tracks
- Mixing in Ableton -- gain staging, EQ, compression, stereo field
- Low-end management and translation on small speakers vs. club systems
- The finish-your-track system -- session templates, deadlines, decision points
- Export, stem prep, and what labels and distributors actually need
What you will walk away with
- Complete and export a release-ready track within the first membership month
- Build a session template that eliminates blank-page paralysis
- Achieve a mix that translates from headphones to a club PA
- Understand what labels like Crosstown Rebels or Hypercolour look for technically
Frequently asked questions
- Do sessions cover only Ableton or other DAWs as well?
- Sessions are Ableton Live-focused because that is Frankie's primary tool, but core mixing and arrangement principles are transferable and discussed in DAW-agnostic terms where useful.
- Is Ableton production coaching available online?
- Yes -- all production coaching is available online worldwide via video call with screen share. You share your session; Frankie works through it with you in real time.
- I have lots of unfinished tracks. Where do we start?
- The intro call is specifically designed for this. Frankie will listen to one or two of your current projects and identify the exact point in your workflow where things stall.
- Can I learn music production with no prior experience?
- Yes. Frankie has coached complete beginners through to first releases. Progress depends on how much time you put in between sessions, not on prior knowledge.
- What is included in the monthly production coaching membership?
- Regular one-to-one Ableton sessions, async track feedback between sessions, and direct access to Frankie for questions. Flat monthly fee, cancel any time.
